I was going to do that after I washed the car real good. I did get almost all of the bugs off just scrubbing hard with the microfiber mitt. Will wax on the lense covers over time degrade the optical clarity? I use Zaino products.
As an aside, how do you get all the bugs out of the screen mesh that pops up when the sunroof is open? (and not destroy the mesh). I haven't tried yet because I keep forgetting when I clean the car. Maybe just a brush will work but some of them seem really stuck to the mesh.
