I was disappointed with my car: F26, 35i M, 20" RFT, adj. shocks, sport steering, due to: windsensitivity, steering precision, straight ahead stability and steer-into-a-curve.
It was not as good as my 1997 9000 Turbo, 340.000km, with 18" wheels.
After lowering with H&R (35mm - 1 1/2"), I got all above characteristics improved, but had to pay with somewhat less chassis comfort.
I have tested X4 M40i and felt that it had about same handling characteristics as my vehicle - but STD ride height.
Even if it is physically possibel to change rear swaybar, it is unlikely that you will get exactly what you are looking for.
