I got the BMW approved rubber boot liner today. Cost me £57 at the dealer (with a small discount) overall I am quite happy with it but to be honest why on earth did they design it such that it obscures the cubby hole on the right hand side of the trunk? Jeez, even the small insert on the left (that houses the warning triangle, locking alloy key, first aid kit and tool kit (UK car) is not accommodated. The profile you would think would be tailored at least to fit snuggly. Seems like a half finished job.
But overall, the fit aside I think it will do the job well. Not sure about that small box mind you...cant see what on earth I would put in it but time will tell.
