Also. Artemis. Fernando has found his home. Also 42 is peak prime. A very young age in the modern world. The brain is at perfection (he is so stable now) The body is in peak condition. Personally that was my best year. But many years later I’d like to keep my current brain and get back my 42 year old physical condition. We can’t have it all though. Think of it as a brain body ratio. He is at peak.

While I think Fernando is still good, he's never going to beat someone like Max in equal cars. Yes, you can still be in great shape but the reflexes and overall agility simply are not there. Fangio won at 45 years old, but cars were not nearly as punishing physcially then, nor did they require the reflexes they do today. And let's not forget that was 70 years ago.
