31,500 km = 19,573 miles for the non-metric folks so it sounds like we're in the same boat.

My tires definitely need changing though. I'd hesitate letting my wife drive them in wet weather at this point.
Seriously disappointed with the tire wear especially given that my winter tires are on for pretty close to six months of the year. I usually do my tire switches around Cdn Thanksgiving and Easter. My tire shop guy says it is pretty common for BMWs to have this kind of tire wear but he has never seen it happen this fast.
