The sport seats in the X3 are a ton better than the regular seats, the leather and plushness is the same but the regular seats have no support, its like sitting on a bench.

Having said that, the sport seats in my new 335i are better than the X3, same leather but they seem to have more cushion and are just more comfortable to sit in, maybe its part of the reason a 335 costs more than a X3 35i!

If you are coming from Nappa Leather or Novillo leather (I had nappa in my C63) then nothing will be as soft and nice, and if you had the multi contour seats, the same issue, nothing compares to it. Hopefully BMW starts to offer both options on the X3 and 3 series in the future as they are no longer the "entry level" models, the 1 series and X1 are...
