Just top it up and the message will go away.
The coolant went somewhere. The underbody panels on our F25 prevent most drips from getting to the driveway/garage floor, where a fluid leak may be obvious. It may be worth some time on a lift to do a visual inspection, as well as a pressure test.
I recently had a coolant leak which resulted in the expansion tank being replaced on my 35i.
