I told them of my skepticism, and they provided me with a copy of a Warranty Vehicle Inquiry, which confirmed the in-service date (the date it came off the line) as Oct 2011. Along with that info was the Motor Type designation of N52T. I have been going on the belief that the Carfax is incorrect, however, this closer reading of the Vehicle Warrant Inquiry (finding the "T" suffix) has me concerned.
If the car was truly never titled, then the in service date should be February when you bought it, not October, when it was built. It will cost you four months of warranty time.
