With the warmer (for winter) sunny weather starting it made me want to open the sun shade. The creaking from the roof just started to drive me crazy, but also proved to me just how good of an insulator the shade was.
Glad I checked this thread because those little pads made my roof as quiet as a church mouse (always wanted to use that expression) and the fix cost less than the gas to drive to the dealer to complain.
