You don't need to remove the panel.

There is a small 10mm nut at the top of the amplifier (between the 2 units) - remove that and then push the amplifier up (it will come away from the bracket).

Slide the new amp in and then replace the nut (this is the tricky part with the limited space - be patient and don't drop it).

Re files - I just installed the base OEM settings and then adjusted the distance settings from driver seat to all the speakers.
