looks like its more serious than initially thought - thieves are smashing the windows and accessing the OBD ports to create new keys without the alarm going off. A 1M youtube video is currently making the rounds and generating some news on the internet about this..
makes you wonder just how secure BMWs are if it's this easy to create new keys and worrying that the alarm isn't going off when windows are smashed...
