I've noticed that on both my 550's the Cooling fans stay on usually after you shut off the engine, for awhile (like an early 90's era car). My X3 35i, the engine fans never stay on after I shut the car off. I know they are different engine designs but both are turbos. Do the fans stay on with the 550 engine because there is less space in the engine bay to allow for adequate cooling?
