Thanks for that tidbit. I am somewhat surprised that they are bothering with the N52 in this model, but I suppose it will be the higher output version similar to the current X3. Basically, as seen in the Z4 30i rather than the 128i, 328i, and the upcoming 528i.

But, I still betting that this and the 528i will be the final new models to get the N52. If I am not mistaken, the X1's debut next year is the next new platform release and I expect (hope) to see the new turbo four in there instead of the N52. If not there, then certainly the F20 1 series.
