With BMW's state of the art technology how hard can be for them to knock up a database that references:
1. Vehicle VIN number against the ship it's been loaded onto (anybody can then lookup sailing dates if they want to)
2. Date the cars unloaded at the destination port
3. Date it left for distribution
Not difficult
