I would recommend that you don't rule out the 35i right away. It has some standard features that are options on the 28i. These standard features almost make up for the difference in price even before you factor in that sweet, sweet turbo charged engine. In addition, you get same fuel economy in the 35i, plus a nice boost in HP whenever you want to use it.
