I believe that for next gen X4, BMW needs to take out some weight and go hybrid. I also believe that most people can accept eAWD with electric rear drive. It is only hard-core US boating people who need massive towing - and I don`t think they buy an X4.

the press seem to be compare to X3/4 vis-à-vis X1 so not sure its actual size in comparison to that or Q3 for the Q6 is the competitor to the X6 so my presumption TTQ is to X4.
