^ This.. The F15 is coming along with all of the updates that the other BMW "F series" vehicles have received. As such, the current X5 has reached the end of its lifecycle. This is the primary reason I didn't purchase one. If you are leasing - the current X5 may be a viable option. But on a purchase I guarantee you will take a huge hit once the F15 X5 is introduced. BTW: My last SUV was a 2012 QX56 so I understand size. Just my needs changed and no longer require the dimensions of the QX56. I also owned an LCI E53 X5 4.4i Sport. One of my favorite BMW's to date. I would say the F25 X3 is comparable in size, but it still feels a bit smaller than the previous X5.
