Problems yes, but taken care of....

I own a E90/sport and we got a 05 x3 for my wife. She has had several issues with it that indicate a once in a million "lemon" from BMW. The air conditioner broke 2x, the rubber seal broke on a door and the car flooded with rain water (we live in Portland, Or), the brake rotors warped and needed to be replaced, and recently the front end is making a horrible sound when we go over bumps. My E90 has had no issues whatsoever. Credit to Rasmussen BMW in Portland. Without prompting, Rasmussen is exchanging our 05 with a brand new 07! This is service and customer care, and is why I will own a BMW for the rest of my life. The new X3si will be here this week. I should say that despite all of the issues, we love the X3! It is quick, responsive, corners like no other SUV! Renently I took a TT (turbo) on the straights and hung with it on the corners! Nice I don't have to give up my driving experience to drive my wife's car. Can't wait to see what the new motor will feel like in the new X3.
