You cannot get a text turn by turn list on the right of the split window, but you can get it on the left window. After entering destination, in map view, left click I-drive knob twice, hit enter on route info and there is your text turn by turn list.

Thanks man... wish we could put this in the split window but at least i know now where to get the full turn list...
