I see you have a 2011 model -- first run. perhaps this is the issue. they might have improved the assembly by now. Our 2013 is rock solid thus far even in chicago's notoriously 3rd world like really crappy streets (Rahm Emanuel really needs to do something about this). also no wind noise whatsoever (another complaint i've seen here). I will definitely keep a close eye on it as creaks and rattels bother me a whole lot. |
I've driven a 2013 and I can safely say I hear the same noises.
They weren't there when I first bought the car, but give it a few more months and park outside enough and you'll hear it. Mostly from the center console and the tailgate. The console clicks, creaks, cracks, etc. The plastic panels are poorly padded and clipped on only in one or two places each rather than the more German-spec three or five.
