The phrase "all I want" is often an indicator that your request is more complicated than it seems

BMW Apps does contain a bit of superfluous stuff that I doubt I'll ever use, but I configured the option anyway, because it had a negligible effect on the monthly payment when compared to the tech package. Among the superfluous features are Facebook, Twitter, and Email integration. I really don't care to read those at stop lights.

However, BMW Apps does add two really cool things:

1) Plugins (currently iPod out)

2) Pandora

If you watch the video below, you can see these two apps in action. If you don't use these features, then BMW Apps probably isn't worth it for you, but we really like them.



iPod out is shown right away, but Pandora isn't feature until around the 5 minute mark.
