Prior to the update, my Nav system not only did not automatically stop trying to provide a route when reaching the destination but it also did not provide a convenient way to stop the route. That is, as soon as I would pass the destination it would continue to provide directions to return to the destination. I could not manually stop it because the "Stop Routing" option was grayed out. It was necessary to enter any new route then immediately manually stop the new route to get it to behave. With the 2014 update, when reaching the destination, it simply drops out of routing mode as it should.
