One man's classic is another man's vanilla. The key thing is that LR/RR have a very distinctive functionally-based design language. The Evoque is an extension of the same design language which extends from the Range Rover all the way down to the Evoque. That design language has been in existence since 1948 so it would be hard to call it "fashionable".
