this is why we got the x28i . my wife could care less for the 1 second difference frm 0-60, and we chose to spend the money on options we wanted.

and although one could get 35 mpg hwy driving only at 55 mph, getting abot 30 mpg at 70 mph is more realistic. this is what we get on ours if we travel in the hwy at 65-70 mph.
