I just pick up mine from dealer. I'd like to say there is no excessive wind noise now. My dealer installed the revised parts for both mirrors based on the TSB but no improvement and they did research and experiments then found one more part need to tighten the revised mirror base to housing. I had to wait for a month until that little part coming from Germany because it was not available in bmwna. I believe those little clips came from the upper 5, 6 or 7 models made in germany. Dealer didn't give me part numer. My loaner was a brand new 2013 X5 50i, which had a same wind noise. Strange...
