Regarding the Telegraph's review, at some point it is true. I personally don't hear any engine noise and maybe a little road noise on the highway at speeds 70 mph and above not because they do not exist, but mainly due to the relatively high level of wind noise present in my car's cabin. When on the other hand I drive on a worse quality country road, I feel my wind noise is lessened, not because it really did lessen , but just because road noise increased this time.
I am always based on the feel of the interior noises when driving on the highway- good road quality- when making statements like I have a wind noise and a traffic noise issue.
