I have about 5-6K miles on my RE960s and so far have been impressed. For me, the biggest improvement came from the ride quality that the 3rd gen. RFT tech brings. After switching I no longer pine for non-RFT tires although I wish I could get the Conti ExtremeContact DWS in a runflat version. Thanks to the CA drought, haven't had a chance to really try them out in snow so can't comment on that.
