The one thing holding me back from loving my X3 is the long throws for the manual transmission. Has anyone experienced the same thing?

Uuc says they don't have a shifter

Could it be that it just needs to be rebuilt, bushings, etc?

My E90 was perfect, and I like it to be closer to that feel
