The thrust of the OP was how much they have gone up in price
Realized that was the point being made. By the time you add up labour for changing the wheels, storage and a car wash it's an incidental. More annoying was that the winter wheels for the wife's older series one, wouldn't fit the new series one necessitating a change of wheels.
