+1 Correct. If you press the lock button a second time, the interior motion detectors and the vehicle level detector (that would sound if someone tried to jack the vehicle to steal a wheel) will be shut off. This is useful if you are leaving a child or pet in the car, traveling on a ferry, etc. However, the alarm for the door locks will remain engaged.
