I have Oyster in my E90 and it will get dirty. The one thing it has over beige is at least the carpeting is black.

I do have to clean it from time to time but it's not that big of a deal. I also don't have kids or any pets. It's usually just me and my girlfriend so that makes it a little easier.

If you see it getting dirty and are not one to keep up on it, it might not be the best choice. I think if it gets heavy use it will need regular cleaning.
