Neither the 7 or the 10 will be able to download the BMW Android App as they are tablets not phones.
Can you not frig the config file of the android device to fool the Android Play store to allow you to download the app? I did this previously on the cheap rooted android tablet I own. When I upgraded it to 4.0 (ICS), there were a few apps not showing. After the edit to the config file I could see them all.
