Yes CPO covers everywhere, Canada and Mexico too if you are on a road trip.
I chose not to purchase a warranty. These cars are pretty reliable, I doubt you will incur that much repairs. The N20 timing chain guides were fixed in 2015 and you can likely fix it before they break if you hear the noise for less $ that the warranty cost.
