Plus as I have learned with my C63, never take the BMW 4 year 50K mile maintenance for granted! I paid $1500 for a Mercedes maintenance package (covers 4 service visits, last one being at 40K miles) and doesn't include any recommeneded services (brake fluid, transmission fluid at 39K miles...) I figure adding those in its around $2200, and that doesn't include brakes! now on a SUV that might just mean pads but if rotors also need to be done, now its a much bigger difference, and on a car like the C63, brakes are $5K, meaning that the cost is really around $7K more than a M3 because all thats included with the BMW. I am guessing the SQ5 has high performance brakes where the rotors and pads will both be replaced before 50K miles.

Just something everyone should keep in mind when shopping brands, no one offers a plan that covers brakes and basically everything but tires for 50K miles and don't underestimate the cost of that.
great points on the maintenance, i fully agree. I don't fully agree that the S4=335i xdrive, I think Audi S slots a little bit above (performance and cost wise) than 335i models. I think the M-performance lineup will better compete with the Audi S cars.
