Angry Is there some double dipping going on???

Both the Bridgesone and Pirelli runflats have a road hazard warentee which is explained in the CD that comes with the car entitiled "Tire Warrentee Interactive Guide" early on it is a free replacement, later it is prorated. I wonder if the Insurance or dealer is filing claims with the tire makers for the cost of the tires. Think about it.......

From the CD Rom on Pirelli, similar statement on Bridgesone.

• If a Run Flat tire becomes unserviceable due to workmanship or materials condition or
road hazard injury during the initial warranty period, which is one year from the date of
original retail purchase (purchase receipt required) or, within the first 2/32” of the original tread, whichever occurs first, the tire will be replaced to the owner at no charge for the tire.
