You need to have OS 6 (pretty much means you need to have either the Bold or the Torch).
I am not on AT&T so can't help you there.
Also, I had problems at first if you have more than one account on the BB - for some reason it kept picking up different accounts randomly. A battery pull solved that problem (BB battery - not the X3's
).
