Uhhh did they say why the intake manifold needs to be replaced? Is it cracked?

I do not know too much about diesels in these cars but I am wondering how they got to that conclusion from a check engine light.

I would call your nearest dealership with your VIN on hand and see if they can look up your car if it is affected for the recall.

Another thing I would do is go to your local auto parts store (oreilys, autozone) and see if they can get your codes read for free and then post what the codes are.

I have never heard of an intake manifold needing to be replaced on a car with such low miles.
