I did all of my own fluids on my 2017 X3 3.5i. 57,000 miles. Transmission, Transfer, front and rear diffs, NO RESET ADAPTATIONS performed. I used factory fill Fuchs Titan transmission fluid, Shell S-Tec transfer case oil, and Fuchs titan sintapoind 75w-90 for the diffs. Ive had zero problems and the transmission is smoother than ever!. Like everyone else, Im going with improper fluid/fill.
