Has anybody seen these issues with their local dealer? I'm sorry, but being told if I gave them a deposit I should have a production number within a day or so is not right if I don't have at least a number after 6-7 weeks!!?

This is complete BS. Run away from that dealer as fast as you can. September numbers are better than July's anyway. I had my production number within HOURS of placing my order.
Ordered car 8/31/16
Production began 9/6/16
I am scheduled to pickup my X4 tomorrow.
Get your deposit back ASAP
