So it's Xmas Eve ...

I just popped into Galway to pick up something last minute (as you do)

Passed the new swanky BMW dealership on the way in and spotted an xline X3 sitting on the forecourt ... Ooh thinks me I'll stop and have a look on the way back

Duly pulled up ousted and there is a long line of cars packed along the frontage along the main road ... No fences .. No barriers .. Ok so the dealer is closed

I walked onto the forecourt and up to the X3 which was all stickered up about the adventure .. Bearing in mind this car was about 2 feet from the public footpath ..

As I start to look at it a loud boomy voice comes out of a loudspeaker telling me to vacate the premises, that I was committing an offence of trespass and if I didn't move immediately the guards (cops) would be called!

So I did the decent thing and ignored him ... Cue more shouting and threats... So I took my time (as you do )

Now if they don't want people to look at their cars .. Why the feck do they park them in the open alongside a busy main road with no barriers .. No fences ... No signs saying keep out etc etc ...

Don't they want you to look at them ? Don't they want you to be interested ?

Now I must add that this was at lunchtime on Xmas eve ..not 3am

Anyway Mr angry just got angrier ... Then in due course I got back in my Bmw .. Parked directly in front of the X3 .. But on the footpath and drove off

So here I am a smartly dressed (for me) middle aged bloke being watched on a CCTV camera being shouted at by some numpty in a CCTV control room

I'm still awaiting the cops !

Oh yeah and the X3 looked nice ... But an experience like that would stop me ever buying a car from that dealer ... Feel like ringing them and telling them so
