If you lean either way, do you hear the creaking noise? It could be the leather rubbing against the hard plastic at the base (either to your left or right side where your bum sits), so just a couple of inches in front of the backrest of the seat.
I had it on my drivers side, so whenever I got in and shuffled around putting the seat belt on etc, it creaked. I have since placed some felt in between the leather and the plastic to stop the noise.
I know the issue could be pretty much anything, but I thought I would share my concern / fix in case yours is the same.
