I must admit, when I heard people talk about ASS I was wary of having it, but I do not mind it at all. Especially seeing you can force your car to start by taking a little amount of pressure off your brake peddle so its not a problem. The 3.0d is very smooth and quiet - not like the 2.0d tractor engine - haven't heard the petrol versions as not in the UK, but I really do not understand why people hate ASS so much. If you have decoded it then the dealer will run a diagnostic, and all your programming will be wiped when he re-installs the programming, so whether you like it or not - ASS will be working when you next drive the car.

Is ASS really such a problem? BY the way - I don't want to cause offence with my remarks - it is just my opinion - which is what a forum is for.
