Sputtering and stalling is one of four things - Bad fuel (you've worked through this one, and there's probably enough ethanol in your fuel that adding a bottle of Dry Gas won't help), lack of fuel (maybe a rare HPFP problem), lack of spark, or lack of compression. I haven't heard of this problem before on an X3. You've done the obvious non-dealer things. This is now a dealer issue to diagnose and correct.
